Le Duc des Lombards affichait complet les 14 et 15 novembre 2025 pour accueillir la chanteuse américaine Christie Dashiell, l’une des voix les plus marquantes de la scène jazz actuelle. Programmée à raison de deux concerts par soir, à 19h30 et 22h, le club parisien a vibré au rythme d'une artiste qui, une fois encore, a su captiver, émouvoir et transporter son public.

Accompagnée d’un trio d’exception — Yoràn Vroom à la batterie, Reggie Washington à la basse et à la contrebasse, et Tony Tixier au piano et aux claviers — Christie Dashiell a offert un moment d’une grande intensité, où la virtuosité instrumentale rencontrait la profondeur d’une voix à la fois chaude, précise et libre.

Au fil du concert, la chanteuse a revisité plusieurs titres de son album Journey in Black (2023), nommé aux 67e Grammy Awards. Parmi eux, les poignants “Brother Sister” et “Ancestral Folk Song”, interprétés avec une émotion palpable. Elle a également évoqué son plus récent projet, We Insistasses (2025), réalisé en collaboration avec la batteuse et productrice Terri Lyne Carrington, actuellement nommé aux 68e Grammy Awards. Une reconnaissance internationale qui confirme l’ascension constante de cette artiste à la signature unique.

The Duc des Lombards was sold out on November 14 and 15, 2025, to welcome American vocalist Christie Dashiell, one of the most striking voices on the current jazz scene. With two shows per night (7:30 PM and 10:00 PM), the Parisian club vibrated to the rhythm of an artist who, once again, captivated and deeply moved her audience.

Accompanied by an exceptional trio—Yoràn Vroom on drums, Reggie Washington on bass and double bass, and Tony Tixier on piano and keyboards—Christie Dashiell delivered a performance of great intensity, where instrumental virtuosity met the depth of a voice that is simultaneously warm, precise, and free.

Throughout the concert, the singer revisited several tracks from her album Journey in Black (2023), which was nominated for the 67th Grammy Awards. Among them were the poignant "Brother Sister" and "Ancestral Folk Song," performed with palpable emotion. She also touched upon her most recent project, We Insist!
